On December 5 2009 Anne Fraley and my self were experiencing sever stomach ache, diarrhea, nausea and felt dehydration, Anne was feeling deathly sick. We made a 911 call to admit Anne to the Mount Carmel East Hospital and the doctor gave Anne IV fluids and told her there was nothing more we could do for her, we thought it was a stomach virus for weeks We discovered on December 12, 2009 Kroger's grocery store a massive recall of slim fast and realize Anne anxiety attack was from using the product slim fast. We only ask Slim Fast to appease the situation and pay for the hospital, doctor and 911 ambulance bill and is following upon the situation. We both experienced for weeks what we thought was stomach virus from the product, we have since been purchasing is the Kroger brand Slim-Rit. Once on the way to visit my dying mother, causing me to pull over 3 times and miss work 3 of the times. Yes, Slim Fast won't be on my grocery list again. They are recalling all cans manufactured since September. Nice of them to let me know in the middle of December. As I'm completely draining my body of fluids and drinking another Slim Fast to replenish the fluids. This is classic theory of diminishing returns. Thanks Slim Fast for offering to replace the ones I didn't drink. Oh....by the way, the results of the Bacillus cereus caused me to shed a few pounds.
